Nowadays, wearing glasses is no longer a luxurious thing. Especially you divert your line of sight to the classes. Almost every student wearing a pair of prescription glasses with two thick optical lens. Because of using eyes to study excessively as well as watching TV and surfing the Internet, wearing glasses is becoming a times tendency that cannot be kept out.
I wore the eyeglasses since I was in junior two. At that time, the major reason for me to wear the prescription glasses is seeing every student around me having their own glasses. So I thought that it could be a current tide. When someone wore the glasses, he looked like very cool and fashionable. Although my vision was not suitable for glasses, conformity psychology still urged me to buy a pair of glasses.
My glasses have pink frame and very thin lens. It wears comfortable. To be honest, I do like it. I wore it all the time and never put it down except the sleeping time. When I walked on the road, I felt refreshing and saw farther. But after a few weeks, a string of inconvenient things came along with. For instance, I cannot see anything when opening the pan full of boil steam. In the rain day, the raindrops stroke the eyeglasses so that everything was seen unclearly. As the time went by, I was aware of the glasses sitting on my nose became a burden for me. Thus I began to only wear them in the class. In other time, I always put them in the glasses case. Then I gradually recognized that I sited from the blackboard so nearly and my vision was good. There was really no necessary for me to wear the two pieces of glasses. Why do I need to continue the pain? So at last, I put off the glasses and put it aside. Someday, when I found it accidently, it was covered with a thick layer of dust. The lens was scratched and the frame was loose. It looked ugly and not as its past any more.
This is the funny story between my eye glasses and me. Because of the temporary brain fever and chasing the fashion glasses, I just wore the glasses for several months. However, in fact, I do not need and fit it. It is a very profound lesson that can never be forgot in my future life.
