My eyes are weak since birth. I do not know the reason, and the doctor warned my parents to take special attention to my eyes, such as do not overuse them, do not exposure my eyes to strong sunshine, take regular rest after using them. So from a little girl, I was surrounded by my parents warnings such as “do not stay so close to the TV” “you have use the computer for a long time, stop it” or “do not go out under such strong sunrays” and so on. So you can imagine what a boring childhood I had lived.
Even so, I still have to wear prescription glasses since primary school, and was given the nick name of “four eyes panda”. To prevent my eyesight from declining, my parents became even strict on the habits of my using eyes in daily life. I had been forbidden to play games when the sunshine is warm and bright, and I could not enjoy summer holidays as I like because my parents worry that the sun rays would hurt my eyes. I understand my parents, but I am really longing for a free holiday visiting different places or having sun bath in the beach.
Before this summer holiday, my friend asked whether I would like to have a vocation to Hawaii. You can imagine how much I wanted to go! But I knew that my parents would not agree. The other day, I went to see my personal eye doctor to have my eyesight examined. I chatted with the doctor about the bothers causing by my over-fragile eyes. Out of my expectation, the doctor said that it would be OK if I wear high-quality prescription sunglasses. At first I didn’t believe that sunglasses would be so workable. But the doctor assured me that I would do since modern technology had made them more trustable and useful.
What good news to me! I told this to my parents immediately I got home. My parents allowed me to join my friend to have a vocation to Hawaii this summer holiday. Then, where to buy prescription sunglasses? Though there are many sunglasses sold in solid stores, most of them are very expensive.
